Our client is a leading eGift Shop based in Australia, at the forefront of innovation and building user-friendly mobile experiences. We are seeking a talented and passionate React Native Developer to join the growing remote team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms in a remote work environment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, back-end developers) virtually to understand requirements and translate them into user-friendly mobile experiences.
- Utilize strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest React Native trends, libraries, and best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high coding standards through remote collaboration tools.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting with strong communication and time management skills.
- Experience with building cross-platform mobile applications is a plus.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
- Experience with Redux or MobX for state management is a plus.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong emphasis on remote communication tools.
- Experience working with Git version control system is a must.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox) is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote development work.
