Senior Full-Stack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Allied BizTech ships fixed-price productized engagements for developed-nation founders. Senior full-stack engineers anchor Build and Upstream service lines — leading 1–3 engineer pods, owning architecture decisions, shipping to client GitHub from day one. AI-paired throughout (Claude / Cursor / Copilot) so a senior here is 3–5× the throughput of a comparable hand-coded shop.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  1. Own end-to-end delivery on 1–3 fixed-price client engagements at any time (typical engagement: 4–14 weeks, $12K–$120K).
  2. Lead architecture decisions: data model, API shape, infra topology, deployment story. Document trade-offs in plain English for non-technical founders.
  3. Pair with mid-level engineers and AI tooling to triple your output without sacrificing review quality.
  4. Ship to the client’s GitHub from day one. No black-box handoffs.
  5. Run weekly demo + kick-off sessions with client founders / CTOs. Stay in their heads, not just their Jira.

MUST-HAVES

  1. 12+ years building production web apps end-to-end. Strong on TypeScript / Node, comfortable with at least one of: Python, Go, Rust.
  2. Postgres-first thinking. Can model + index + tune for 10M+ row tables without reaching for an ORM crutch.
  3. AWS or GCP fluency. Lambda + API Gateway + CloudFront + RDS or equivalent. Comfortable writing IaC (Terraform / CDK).
  4. Has led at least 3 production projects from blank-repo to live customers. Comfortable owning infra decisions, not just feature work.
  5. Excellent written English. Clear async communication is the bar — most clients are 6–12 hours timezone-removed.

NICE TO HAVE

  1. Experience with healthcare (HIPAA) or fintech (PCI / SOC2) compliance contexts.
  2. Built or shipped an LLM-powered feature in a real product (RAG, agents, structured extraction).
  3. Open-source maintainer or active community contributor.
