ABOUT THE ROLE

Senior designers at Allied BizTech own the experience layer of fixed-price client builds — from problem-framing through Figma library through dev pairing through visual QA. AI-paired tooling (Figma AI, Magicpath, Anthropic for copy) so throughput is 2–3× a comparable solo studio.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  1. Lead design on 2–3 active client engagements. Drive problem-framing, interaction design, visual + brand expression, and dev handoff.
  2. Build + maintain client design systems in Figma with tokens that map cleanly to the engineering teams’ component library.
  3. Pair with engineers during build. Spot regressions, propose simplifications, kill scope creep collaboratively.
  4. Drive accessibility: WCAG 2.1 AA as the floor, real screen-reader testing on the critical paths.

MUST-HAVES

  1. 7+ years shipping product design at non-trivial scale (B2B SaaS, regulated-industry consumer, or D2C with real revenue).
  2. Figma fluency including auto-layout, variants, tokens, and library publishing.
  3. Has owned a design system end-to-end (not just contributed to one).
  4. Strong portfolio showing both visual craft AND behind-the-scenes process (problem framing, iteration, trade-offs).

NICE TO HAVE

  1. Front-end coding fluency (HTML / CSS / light React) so you can prototype rather than mock.
  2. Healthcare or fintech regulated-design experience.
  3. Brand-design background — wordmark, logo, type system work.
